If you go to any restaurant during your time in Florence, let this be it. We had 7 of us walk in on a Tuesday night without reservations and the owner welcomed us with open arms, he truly treated us like we were at his home! All of the staff was wonderful and I’m still dreaming of the Florentine steak we got for the table. They show you the cut before cooking it and they even cut the steak for you when it comes out! I wish I could have gone twice during my stay here, it was that amazing. I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Thank you for everything!! :)

I would give this ten stars if I could. The entire experience was perfection from the food to the drinks to the staff to the atmosphere. We had the beef Wellington which took over an hour (welcomed and expected) which gave us the chance to have a round of drinks and some samples of cheeses and jams. Everything was fresh and flavorful while the staff was knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. I will dream about this meal for years to come.

What a great dining experience. The food was fantastic. My wife was reluctant to try the steak the way it was prepared but quickly changed her mind and loved it. The salad was simple but so flavorful. The brought us prosecco to start and lemon cello at the end of our meal. Highest recommendation.

Ate here the first night in Florence. Owner welcomed us without reservations and treated us as if we were any other guest. Food was unbelievable and service was top notch. We decided to come back our second night. Best food/service we experienced in Italy on our 2 week vacation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience and well priced

A quiet, elegant, and flawless experience. Every dish told the story of real Tuscany…. butter, wine, truffle, and pure respect for flavor. The tartare, pasta, and steak were perfectly balanced, each detail intentional and honest. Service was outstanding!warm, attentive, and truly personal. Wine poured with care, atmosphere calm and refined. Not a tourist spot , a place for people who understand what genuine quality feels like.

This is my favorite restaurant in Florence. I’ve been coming here for five years and it never ever disappoints. It starts with the ambience and amazing staff and finishes with the explosion of flavor. True story…my 13 year old told me we should kidnap the chef and take him home. Jokes aside Besi the owner is one of the most knowledgeable, kindest and coolest dudes we’ve ever met. Another memorable experience and we will be back soon. I’d give a recommendation, but everything is amazing. Okay…the beef Wellington was out of this world. Thanks again and appreciate the wine recommendations. Ce Vediamo!

Great food, great service found this place since it was only 1 min walking from hotel. We ordered 5 dishes, 2 dessert and all were perfect. This restaurant is more of elevated dining than other places we tried during our 5 day stay in Florence

We had the misfortune of coming here on our last night in Florence, we wished we could have come every night! We’d actually visited two years prior and one of the waiters even recognised us, if that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about their level of care, I don’t know what could. The service was amazing and personable, they have really curated such a welcoming environment. The poor host was dealing with multiple parties showing up with more than they’d booked for and a party of seven that never showed up, but he had us seated and not once did the quality of service drop. The food was utterly divine on all accounts, delicious wine and a fantastic espresso martini to finish it all up. I cannot recommend this place enough, I will be returning to Florence as soon as I can just to come here. Thank you to the host and our love to the amazing waiter with an amazing memory and such kindness
